How To Avoid Lust

1) मन में विषय का विचार आते ही उसे उखाड़ देना चाहिए और कहीं आकर्षण हुआ कि तुरंत ही प्रतिक्रमण करना चाहिए। इन दो शब्दों को जो पकड़े उसे ब्रह्मचर्य कायम रहेगा।
2) ये सारी स्त्रियाँ आपको आकर्षित नहीं करतीं, जो आकर्षित करती हैं वे आपका पिछला हिसाब है। इसलिए उसे उखाड़कर फैंक दो, स्वच्छ कर दो।
3) अब भावनिद्रा आए तो वहीं उसी व्यक्ति के शुद्धात्मा के पास ब्रह्मचर्य के लिए शक्तियाँ माँगना कि 'हे शुद्धात्मा भगवान, मुझे सारे संसार के साथ ब्रह्मचर्य पालन करने की शक्तियाँ दीजिए।' यदि हमारे पास शक्तियाँ माँगे तो वह उत्तम ही है, परंतु जिस व्यक्ति के साथ व्यवहार हुआ है, वहाँ पर डिरेक्ट (सीधा) माँग लेना वह सर्वोत्तम है।
4) केवल एक आत्मा ही चाहिए, तो फिर विषय कैसे खड़ा हो?
5) प्रतिक्रमण, दृढ़ निश्चय, वह सारी सैना तो रखनी होगी और साथ में 'ज्ञानी पुरुष' के दर्शन, उस दर्शन से अलग हो जाने पर भी मुश्किल आ पड़ेगी।
6) आँखें मिलें तो तुरंत ही प्रतिक्रमण कर डालना चाहिए।
7) जिसे ब्रह्मचर्य पालना है उसे आँख तो मिलानी ही नहीं।
8) आज तक जो भूलें हो गई हों उनका प्रतिक्रमण करना। और भविष्य में ऐसी भूलें नहीं हों ऐसा निश्चय करना।

भीष्म पितामाह ने महाभारत में कहा है कि जो आजीवन ब्रह्मचारी रहता है, उसे इस संसार में कुछ भी दुःख नहीं होता। उसके लिये कोई भी वस्तु दुलर्भ नहीं।

श्री कृष्ण जी ने कहा है कि ब्रह्मज्ञान के प्राप्त हो जाने पर मनुष्य बहुत शीघ्र ही परमानन्द का अधिकारी होता है।

शंकाराचार्य जी ने कहा है कि ऋत ज्ञानान्न मुक्तिः, अर्थात् ब्रह्मज्ञान के बिना किसी की मुक्ति नहीं हो सकती
शंकाराचार्य जीने कहा है कि जो विषयों में लिप्त है वह बंधा हुआ है तथा जो विषयों से अलिप्त है वह मुक्त है। वही महाशूर है, जो कामदेव के बाणों से व्यथित न हुआ हो।

जो लोग अकाल मृत्यु से मरते हैं व मोक्ष के अधिकारी नहीं हाते हैं। अकाल मृत्यु से बचने के लिये ब्रह्मचर्य पालन आवश्यक है।

मनुष्य बिना ब्रह््मचर्य धारण किये हुए कदापि पूर्ण आये वाले नहीं हो सकते - ऋग्वेद

ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन ब्रह्मपद का मूल है, जो अक्षय-पुण्य को पाना चाहता है, वह निष्ठा से जीवन व्यतीत करे - देवर्षि नारद

ब्रह््मचर्य से ही ब्रह्मस्वरूप के दर्शन होते हैं। है प्रभो, निष्कामता ही प्रदान कर दास को कृतार्थ करें। - मुनिवर्य भारद्वाज

ब्रह्मचर्य से मनुष्य दिव्यता को प्राप्त होता है। शरीर के त्यागने पर सद्गति मिलती है- मुनीन्द्र गर्ग

ब्रह्मचर्य के संरक्षण से ही मनुष्य को सब लोको में सुख देने वाली सिद्धियां प्राप्त होती है- मुनिराज अत्रि

ब्रह्मचर्य से ही ब्रह्मज्ञान प्राप्त करने की योग्यता प्राप्त होती है। - पिप्पलाद
